About the tour

Early in the morning you depart from Zagreb to the neighboring country Slovenia. During this ride the guide shares interesting stories about both Croatia and Slovenia. This way you discover what makes these two countries so special and you’ll find out where the most beautiful places are hidden.

The first stop of the tour are the Postojna Caves. These are the most-visited caves in Europe. The cave system is 24 kilometres long! It is a fantastic web of tunnels, passages, galleries and halls. Experience the magic of the underground world while you drive through the caves with a train.

After the visit to Postojna the tour is not over yet. You’ll visit the capital of Slovenia. In Ljubljana, a local guide will be waiting for you to show you the most beautiful areas of the city. One of these is the Ljubljana Castle which will be visited during the tour, from here you can enjoy a breathtaking view over the city.

  • There is a moderate amount of walking included in this tour with some steep parts. Make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes
  • The temperature in the caves is around 8 Celsius, make sure to wear warm clothes
  • The tour operates in all weather conditions
