I visited this church while walking around Ljubljana. It is a baroque church with twin towers and a central dome that stands on Pogačarjev Street in the old town. The exterior is not very impressive, but the cathedral's heavy doors are a must-see! The "Ljubljana Door" on the south side depicts six bishops standing on the covered body of Christ, depicting the history of the Ljubljana Diocese. The "Slovenia Door" on the west side depicts the history of Slovenia, depicting scenes such as the Crusades and Slovenia's independence in 1991, with the Pope peering through the window. I had heard that the lavishly decorated sanctuary was one of the highlights, but unfortunately I was not able to see it.
