This tour is perfect for the war buffs who want to know more about the Vietnam War. Imagine spending your days living in underground tunnels, only able to come out at night when the sun is down - that's what the people of Cu Chi did nearly 50 years ago during the Vietnam War.

Pickup is offered in the center of District 1, 3 & 4 in Ho Chi Minh City. Other districts, please make your way to the meeting point (Vietnam Adventure Tours office) at: 123 Ly Tu Trong street, District 1 by 8:00am for the morning Tour & 12:10pm for the afternoon Tour.

  • Cu Chi Tunnels, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
    Around 8:00AM or 12:10PM. Start with pickup from the center of HCM City and head to the non-touristy Ben Duoc tunnel of Cu Chi tunnels where fewer visitors coming, so that you can have the most personalized experience exploring Cu Chi Tunnels. After 1.5 hour drive, we arrive at the Tunnels where you'll have the opportunity to explore the tunnel system, which includes narrow passageways, hidden entrances, and underground chambers. Learn about the daily life of the Cu Chi guerrilla fighters and how they managed to survive in the tunnels. You can crawl distances through the tunnels. You may see kitchens, living quarters, among other things used during the war. Learn about how different types traps were created and set up. Visit the weapon rooms and learn how the soldiers made them. You can also safely try your hand at the shooting range with an AK-47. After exploration, we travel back to HCM City. Arrive approximately at 3:00PM for the morning tour or 6:55PM for the afternoon tour.

Very informative and kind guide. Water was provided and plenty of opportunities to get souvenirs and snacks as needed. Really enjoyed the tour and well worth the money.

Alex was an awesome guide, very knowledgeable and hilarious. Group of 12 was a perfect size. The Ben Duoc tunnels are just amazing. Also shooting an AK-47 was a bit of a highlight too.

The tour was very informative and our tour guide Alex had a nice sense of humor. On the way back, he also recommended us a nice lunch spot. Do this tour to understand the Vietnam war and how it affected the people and culture here.
