Curacao Kayak and Snorkel Adventure

We found the facility easily with Google Maps, and the young fellows that worked there were beyond friendly and helpful. We kayaked with a tour guide Cesar who was knowledgeable and friendly. We snorkeled and we made an extra stop at a castle type figure from WWI. For two city folks, it was easy to glide ourselves in the water, the guide was very helpful. What a great experience!

We were picked up and dropped off right from our cruise ship, which was perfect! Quinton was a wonderful guide who showed us some great areas for snorkeling. He was very patient with us on the paddle out to the snorkel area, as we were new to double kayaking. Quinton was very attentive and explained things well and since we were also new to snorkeling, he was very attentive.

Even though we managed to have a good time kayaking and snorkeling with the two young guides…..there was a total communication breakdown before the event and during the check in. First, I had to call because our Viator ticket did not have a time on it. No one answered the phone or replied to calls or emails for weeks. We even went by the day before and informed them that we were driving on our own from our Airbnb. The morning of, the owner called in a panic because we weren’t there at the cruise ship and that we had to be at the office for 8:45. (We were told 9:30 when we finally got someone) we rushed there and then waited over an hour for another couple to join us. It was very frustrating to deal with the owner, but the guides were great. If you are on a cruise ship, it is probably fine. If you aren’t , good luck!
