If your answer is yes, so the Wahiba Wilderness Tour is just for you! Cross the desert dunes by 4WD vehicle, and experience the adrenaline rush of driving across the rugged terrain in an off-road mode of transport. Make your way to the Wahiba Sands to see the traditional homes of the desert nomads and Bedouin tribes. Keep a look-out for the nomads as they move through the desert with their camels. Visit a Bedouin home in the middle of the desert, and contrast the arid landscape with the clear, blue waters of Wadi Bani Khalid. Enjoy a relaxing siesta in the shade of the palm trees, and catch a glimpse of the pretty villages scattered across the slopes of the wadi. Marvel at how the houses cling precariously to the rugged mountain side. Bring your swimming costume to take a dip in the inviting waters!

    Wadi Bani Khalid (or Wadi Hayer as it’s also called). It’s literally a paradise that will allow you to refresh after the stuffy desert. Wadi Hayer is an oasis with a sparkling waterfall surrounded by huge rocks and date palms from all sides. The water is crystally clean and transparent here. We should mention that it’s not just a single point — it covers a wide range of near set villages. Tourists also have a chance to get into the caves, but they should be accompanied by the experienced guide.

    Wahiba Sands is a desert region that is the part of the Al Sharqiya Sands of Oman. This place will definitely stay memorable for everyone. You'll see the dunes that may reach up to 200 meters and which are created by wind, white and red sands. The unique sunsets, camels and untouchable nature - these are just a small list of things you're going to see and experience.

It was a long day with a long drive but the oasis in the parched landscape and sand dunes that literally stretch as far as the eye can see was worth it.

Super trip mit super Guide… Adam war super… sehr fachkundig und sehr bemüht, dass es an nichts fehlt.. somit war die Fahrt trotz paar Km sehr amüsant und interessant
