My friend and I were very excited for this tour and arrived early at the meeting point 10 minutes before pick-up time to wait for the driver. We are from the US so our mobile SIMs were changed so we could only communicate through WhatsApp or Tripadvisor. This was told to the tour operator and documented. When it was only 7 minutes after pick-up time, I messaged tour operator on Tripadvisor asking where the driver was and to contact me on Whatsapp. They responded 10 minutes later and said the driver left and they tried to call my phone, in which I replied again that I do not receive phone calls. No one tried to message or call me on Whatsapp, and no drivers showed up at the pick-up point. Therefore, I asked for a refund and the tour operator refused and referred to the 1 day cancellation policy. This was an expensive all day 8 hour tour that me and my friend never participated in and the tour operator wanted to charge 100% of the tour anyway. This is considered a scam to charge for services not rendered. Also, the tour operator tried to put all the blame on us with their mistakes and never owned up to to anything (ie. calling me through the incorrect way when I asked to contact me on Whatsapp, driver not stopping to look around if they did indeed show up, telling me it's a threat if I write any bad reviews, etc). This tour company has no ethics. All of this communication are documented in my Tripadvisor message inbox.
