Dinner in the Boat At Dubai Marina

My husband and I visited Dubai, on honeymoon and were looking forward to experiencing the wooden boat… Sadly, we feel completely mislead with the entire experience and did not receive what was advertised. The boat was oversubscribed and it was very busy. There weren’t enough glasses on the tables, the unlimited soft drinks - we eventually got one small glass of Coke, then had to ask for another one. The three course dinner was an open buffet of; soup, some cold salad / coleslaw / cold Indian curry (because by the time our table was called up, it was cold) / one piece of (pre) cooked BBQd chicken. The food was like warm. Also, the music was very loud and it was difficult to look over the other cruise boats who seemed to be enjoying a far more civilised and quiet experience!! I would avoid booking this at all costs, we, in hindsight regret setting foot on this boat, it certainly wasn’t the romantic honeymoon experience.

Nos gustó mucho el paseo. Las vistas son hermosas. La cena no es gran cosa.. vale la pena el paseo mas por las vistas. El show es divertido.

The dinner in the boat was said to start at 7 and finish 9pm, which was perfect for us (family with a baby). Instead, the boarding was completed at 9pm. We were standing there near Marina waiting for 2 hours straight (with a baby and grandparents). 10 minutes before the meeting time at the Marina one of Viator’s guides called me to tell me that the boat that we booked is “broken” and they have another one to provide us. So we got the boat that we didn’t want at the first place and since it was 7 us we didn’t want to leave it all and it was already 100% payed. The experience on the boat was catastrophic. Too crowded, food maybe nice but we didn’t even try it because no one was following the queue and many people used their own hand to take the food from the bowls there. No one was try to stop them. So we decided not to eat. Somewhere around 10pm (when we were supposed to be at the hotel sleeping) extremely loud music started playing and came a man dancing, that freaked out my baby and she started crying. The party was over when the boat stopped at around 11 pm. We went out hungry, frustrated that we payed for something like that. No one was expecting it to be such a bad experience as it was, unfortunately. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.
