The tour starts off with a short visit to Pietermaritzburg, the capital of KwaZulu Natal. We then head towards the Giants Castle Reserve in Drakensberg Mountain range to visit the cave paintings. Access to the caves requires a 40 minute leisurely walk along a trail. After the guided tour at the caves, we head to Howick falls before visiting the Nelson Mandela Capture Site Sculpture and Apartheid museum.

Bonito tour, el lugar de las pinturas rupestres es muy bonito. Muy bonito ese sector de montañas. De ahi el lugar de captura de mandela, hay un museo y la estructura que se ve en las fotos. Las distancias si son grandes! Las montañas estan a 3hrs aprox y se ahi al ligar de captura son como 2 hrs mas, asi que paciencia.

Really fun to go to lots of things to learn about and when you get there you are met with the car that he was caught in when he was trying to get away from the cops. Overall 10/10

One of the best tour that I have in SA. The tour guide is a lovely, gentle and upright Greek man. This is the best choice not only for the beautiful road trip but also the nice opportunity to talk with him. I really enjoyed every thing about this trip, better than the one I had in St Lucia. It is a must for people who like road trip, SA history, African Bushman history and hiking. The scenery along the road is very beautiful and diverse. Every site planned in the itinery is worth of visiting. Highly recommend!!!!
