You’ll join one of our local Edinburgh hosts for a customized kick-start experience of their magical city. Get the best possible introduction to a new city as you let our host show you the ropes and take you to iconic spots like Edinburgh Castle, the Scott Monument or Arthur’s Seat. And of course you’ll discover delicious food and some local gems like Dean Village along the way. Within 24 hours after booking you'll receive a short questionnaire about your personality and interests. Based on your responses, you'll be assigned a like-minded host. Your host will communicate with you directly to suggest an itinerary to help you discover what makes the city unique. You will also agree on a meeting time and place. Your itinerary is flexible, so during the experience, you can always change your mind about what you want to do.

Elizabeth was very knowledgeable and put together a tour of sites in Edinburgh specific to our interests. We enjoyed our time with Elizabeth, learning the layers of history in Edinburgh

Fedor was terrific! Very thoughtful in planning our stops, and did great work keeping our kids engaged. He was knowledgeable as well as personable. Wear comfortable shoes--you'll get your steps in! Excellent tour!

Your description reads as though it’s a custom tour of Arthur’s seat and Edinburg castle. It is NOT. It’s a town walking tour. Very disappointing. We had to do the castle and seat on our own and take up an extra day. Just not what we wanted. Not ‘custom’ at all. Do not recommend. Tour guide was ok….but not what we wanted out of a tour. We expressed our concerns and he said he ‘tried’ to get ahold of his boss but couldn’t. Very misleading.
