Just returned home from a fantastic bucket list holiday to Egypt. Everything went smoothly and efficiently and the itinerary covered all I could have wished for and more! Our guide Ahmed was very informative and helpful giving us personal anecdotes as well as details on the major sites. I really appreciated his helpfulness ensuring we had the best time ever. I appreciated the fact that the programme included many of the significant ancient sites as well as the opportunity to have afternoon tea at the Cataract hotel and meeting a Nubian family and swimming in the Nile. It was also great to be taken to some artisan workshops and have the option of purchasing high quality authentic souvenirs. We had such a fantastic time on our family holiday to Egypt! Everyone we met was so friendly and hospitable, from the staff on the cruise to the security at the airport, the Egyptian people were very welcoming and always happy to help. Combining a 3-day cruise on the Nile, with the ancient temples, a hot air balloon ride, the pyramids and the new museum gave us such an incredible insight into Ancient Egypt, it took our breath away. Our guide Ahmed was knowledgeable, attentive, organised, adaptable and knew exactly how to make the best out of our trip. He was able to answer any question we had, provided detailed insights into the history and culture of Ancient Egypt and felt like part of the family by the end of the tour. I highly recommend Unlimited Tours. Mohamed, the owner of Unlimited Tours, has got a great team of people to ensure that your Egypt tour is smooth and hassle free. Below is my experience with them... Before we flew in to Chiro, I liaised with them through Viator app and they said someone would wait for us "before" the custom. I thought it was a typo. But I was wrong. Someone was indeed waiting for us. He helped us with the visa application, then lead us to the fast lane to clear the custom. It was a VIP experience. The VIP experience continued throughout the trip, with lots of personnel helping us with different logistics, including domestic flights and Nile cruise. Our tour guide in Cairo is Reem, in Aswan is Mostafa, both are graduates in Archaeology. They are not just our tour guide who helped us to beat the queues and entertained our last minute requests, but also our history teachers. I now have enough knowledge to share about ancient Egypt with my friends. Overall, I am very satisfied with this private tour and Unlimited Tours.
