A slightly unusual excursion to Sharm. Definitely tiring but seeing the sunrise in the desert is always exciting.

I'm really happy with this tour. I came to Sharm mainly for scuba diving (I did a liveaboard) but I'd say this tour is the highlight of my trip!
I arrived early for the pick up and the guide Kamil (hope I got the name right) was there waiting for me already. It's a bit unfortunate that I'm the first one being picked up (also meaning being the last to be dropped off) so I had to spend 1-2 hours more in the minivan than some other guests. But someone has to be the first to be picked up so no complaints here.
Kamil is friendly, respectful and knowledgeable. He is also multilingual, taking care of all the guests from different countries.
We had a Bedouin guide Musa to guide the hike to the summit of Mount Sinai. He is an amazing guide, very friendly and knowledgeable. He did a good job taking care of everyone. I was unfortunately scratched by a stray cat in the mountain. Musa kept asking around to see if anyone has antiseptic products, plasters etc. Luckily a Russian guest from our tour came prepared! (And luckily Musa is also multilingual so he can ask for me!). He also made sure no one was left behind and gave clear instructions of where to meet. The hike itself is great and the scenery is stunning. It's not a difficult hike but does require some level of fitness. Watching sunrise from there is well worth it!
We then visited St. Catherine's Monastery with another guide. It was kind of a rush as we needed to set off by 10am. Wish we could have spent more time there.
Overall, I'm very happy with my experience.
