I highly recommend taking a 4:30 or 5:00 pm sail boat ride down the calm of the Nile in Luxor. We requested a quick stop in banana island. A private 20 minute sail trip from our hotel at the Hilton Luxor (highly recommend to anyone who wants class and service). Hamada, was prompt and professional. He explained the Nile and communicated between the local villagers for us. Hamada made our trip comfortable and safe. The felucca boat ride was driven by 3 guys, 2 were young boys, quiet and well behaved. They deserved the tip! Make sure to tip well.
