Our tour was fantastic. We got to see the incredible sights of Luxor and our guide Khalid was incredibly knowledgeable. Everything ran smoothly, we were picked up at our hotel at 8 o’clock and set off to see the sights. On the drive Khalid informed us of the history and significance of the city of Luxor and then gave us further details as we went to each site. He ensured everything ran smoothly for us and provided waters for the day as well. Our driver got us everywhere safely in a comfortable and air conditioned van
Excellent service

My daughter and I were lucky enough to do this tour with Omar as our guide. He was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the subject material. On the first day, he picked us up exactly on time and took us through to the Valley of the Kings, Colossus of Memnon and Temple of Hatshepsut. The tombs were awe inspiring and he gave us ample time to wander around at our leisure. We made a stop at an alabaster workshop and it was refeshing to be told by both Omar and the guide at the workshop that there was no pressure to buy.
The next day was a shorter one so we chose a slighter later pickup time. We visited Karnak and Luxor Temples. Again, we were given free time to sightsee and take photos after being guided with expert commentary. Omar turned out to be an expert photographer and offered to take photos at every photo opportunity. He then kindly arranged a felucca ride for us and it was such a serene experience that it was the perfect ending to a lovely day.
But wait! That wasn't the end of the day. I had mentioned that I wanted to try some koshari so he asked if he could take us for some after the tour. I am so glad I took him up on his offer as he took us to a local place we would not have found by ourselves and treated us to the most delicious koshari I have ever had! Thank you, Omar. He then escorted us back to the hotel after two wonderful, informative days. I learned so much about Egypt's history from this lovely young man.
