In all our touring we never met a better guide then Brenda. I jokingly said I wanted to package her and take her on all our tours. Besides her charming friendly manner she had an incredible knowledge about the David statue and Michelangelo. Her art history background was evident. She was also helpful in altering our tour to reduce the walking because of my wife’s bad knee.

We immediately connected with Barbara. Her background knowledge of the museums was superb and she was also funny. She shared some of the art history theories behind some of the more famous pieces as well as some facts. My wife and I are both teachers and loved her technique of asking questions to illicit responses that she would then explain. For instance, she asked if we noticed anything about David’s feet and hands. We noticed that they are not in proportion with the rest of the statue. She explained why (take her tour to find out). The backgrounds behind the works of art and the artists are fascinating and at times titillating. Barbara also shared a little about living I. Florence which made the tour even better.
