Each of our tours is as much about local history as it is about chocolate. Our local guides have gone to great lengths to understand the areas we take you to so we can share some of its fascinating stories.     Government House dominates the west end of the Town Plaza, a unique Spanish land use component lying within a National Historic Landmark District. Along coasts, plazas were to begin at the waterfront - to see and to be seen. Since 1598, a government building has stood on this site with a view of the harbor landing, accommodating administrative headquarters and residences of colonial governors appointed by the Crowns of Spain, then Britain, then Spain again. After Spain ceded Florida to the United States in 1821, this current Government House served as a courthouse and briefly as a Capitol of the new Territory of Florida.

Loved our experience, the knowledge that Alison had of the area was incredible. We highly recommend her as your guide. Side note if she doesn’t know the answer she will get it for you AND comes with many recommendations for local eateries as well!

Robin gave our small group a fun tour with fantastic local sweet stops and she kept us entertained with stories and legends about St. Augustine! Robin was a generous host and was warmly welcomed by the sweet shop proprietors. Robin gave me a personal recommendation for lunch after the tour and I was fortunate to snag a balcony overlooking the fort and the river at The St George Restaurant. Most of all, I enjoyed seeing Robin, Debra and Allison later that afternoon at Casa de Vino 57, a delightful wine garden with live music. I highly recommend the Chocolate Tour and the History Tour when you visit St. Augustine!

all the samples were delicious. We also got a few goodies to take home. They were not stingy with the amount of treats you got. Our tour guide, Robin, was great. We totally enjoyed it!
