Frankfurt Express Hop-on Hop-off Tour

Leider hatten die Frontscheiben des Bus-Oberdecks bei beiden Touren (Skyline und Express) keinen Scheibenwischer, so dass während des Regens keine ausreichende Sicht möglich war. Zudem war ein Kopfhörer defekt und später fiel die Ansage komplett aus und musste beim Fahrer reklamiert werden.

I should have read the reviews before booking. This is not a hop on hop off bus, it doesn’t stop. I got to the bus at 1.10pm was told the bus will only start at 2pm by very unfriendly lady and driver. Doesn’t hurt to be a little friendly when you work in tourism! So much for every 20 to 30mins. The actual tour was just driving around with no stops. Commentary was not working for most of the trip, worked at the beginning, the only announcing stops with no explanation on sights and then worked a little towards the end after someone complained. I usually find these tours so useful to get a feel for a place but this is by far the worst one I have been on.

Bus is every 2 hours for the express tour when it was advertised as every 20-30 minutes. Bus attendant was unhelpful and information had to be forced from them. Bus took a different than advertised route cutting out 1/3 of the journey. The audio seemed to miss a lot of the sights that you would want information on and some were played late so that we could not see what was being spoken about. Overall a very underwhelming and disappointing experience.
