Welcome to our Mountain Sunrise Service, where you can experience the beauty of a mountain sunrise and hike at your own pace. If you're someone who loves to witness the first light of the day and embark on a breathtaking hike, then this is the ideal service for you. Our Pickups begins bright and early, with pickups starting from 5:30 a.m. in summer and 6.am in winter seasons, We'll pick you up from your location and transfer you to Pico do Areeiro. After enjoying the awe-inspiring sunrise, we'll arrange a pickup at the other end, allowing you to hike at your own pace. You'll start your hike from PICO DO AREEIRO to PICO RUIVO carkpark at Achada da Taxeira. Once you've completed your hike, will be waiting to transport you back to Funchal, ensuring a comfortable and convenient return journey. Join our Mountain Sunrise Service and let us take care of the logistics while you focus on enjoying the majestic sunrise and the freedom of hiking at your own pace.

    You'll be dropped here before sunrise, but before we do orientation/safety brief.
  • Pico Ruivo, Portugal
    Congratulations on reaching the summit! It's time to celebrate with a picnic lunch. After a well-deserved rest, you'll begin the hike down to the car park at Achada da Teixeira, which typically takes 45 minutes to 1 hour. We'll be waiting for you at the car park until 2 p.m., ready to provide a comfortable ride back to Funchal. Enjoy the descent and we look forward to accompanying you on the journey back.

Such a lovely day out, amazing views finished with lovely Madeira wine definitely recommend. The tour guide was lovely and so knowledgeable.

Amazing tour , we were lucky to get the whole tour to ourselves. He gave a fully informative and interactive tour , couldn’t recommend him enough. All the sites were fantastic, we especially loved Cabo giráo as the view was absolutely stunning and the wine tasting part of the tour was fun. He even dropped us off in a central location so we could go out to eat in the old town. Definitely value for money.
