Mtskheta was the ancient capital of Kartli, the East Georgian Kingdom from the 3rd century BC to the 5th century AD. and was also the location where Christianity was proclaimed as the official religion of Georgia in 337. Our tour guide Kaka was amazing and very professional. His in depth knowledge of the area was very helpful and he made sure we understood the underlying history and facts for each area that we visited. I would recommend Kaka to anyone who visits Georgia
