Your journey begins with pickup from Athinios Port for a full-day adventure in Santorini’s iconic caldera. The first stop is the volcano, where you’ll have 1.5 hours to hike its rugged trails and explore its unique landscape. A 5€ entrance fee is required to access the volcano. Your tour escort will guide you along the paths, sharing fascinating stories about its history and eruptions. Wear sturdy shoes and bring water for this moderate hike, which rewards you with stunning views. Next, sail to the hot springs at Palea Kameni. The boat anchors 30-50 meters from the springs, requiring a swim to reach the warm, sulfur-rich waters. This activity is recommended for strong swimmers. Continue to Thirassia to explore its villages, admire views, or enjoy a meal at a taverna. After returning to Athinios Port, a bus takes you to Oia for 2 hours to explore its picturesque streets and watch Santorini’s famous sunset. Afterward, the bus returns you to your starting point.

P E S S I M O! Dall’inizio alla fine! Avevo prenotato il tour pick up e tramonto a Oia, in italiano…costo 50€!) ma: 1) pick up annullato alle 8.55 (orario del pick up stesso); 2) stop a Oia annullato, comunicato solo all’imbarco; 3) contemplate solo Spagnolo ed Inglese. Ovviamente per raggiungere il punto di imbarco è stato necessario prendere la funivia (12€ a/r), per fortuna le lingue non sono un problema, ma comunque siamo rientrati alle 16:30 contro una previsione di rientro che era OLTRE IL TRAMONTO. Direi almeno 3 ore. Ed ovviamente il rimborso previsto è di soli 20€. Non si sa quando. Non si sa perché.. tutto il disagio vale solo 8€??? Ovviamente in linea con tutto ciò… anche il servizio sia negli uffici che a bordo pressoché inesistente! EVITATE!!!!! **** P E S S I M O! From start to finish! I had booked the pick up and sunset tour in Oia, in Italian ... cost € 50… But: 1) pick up canceled at 8.55 (time of the pick up itself); 2) stop in Oia canceled, communicated only upon boarding; 3) contemplate only Spanish and English. Obviously, to reach the boarding point it was necessary to take the cable car (€ 12 return), luckily the languages are not a problem, but in any case we returned at 16:30 against a return forecast that was BEYOND SUNSET. I would say at least 3 hours. And obviously the expected refound is only € 20. It is not known when. No one knows why .. all the inconvenience is only worth € 8 ??? Obviously in line with all this ... even the service both in the offices and on board is almost non-existent! AVOID !!!!!

5 thumbs up to our guide Ulysses for guiding us through the volcano and sharing with us historical and geographical data about the island. Thanks for his patience and sense of humour. Even though we were surprised to be on our own during bus transfers and we got bored while waiting for sunset in Oia ( pronounce “e-I “)among masses of tourists, we’ve enjoyed that dynamic day hiking, swimming, cruising and marveling at instagrammable Santorini!
