I booked this trip as a special gift to my father who has been talking about going to Hadrian’s Wall for my entire life. I spoke multiple times with the tour operator and was under the impression that this would be a guided tour with someone that was very knowledgable about the wall. I’m not sure what happened but our tour guide ended up being a professional driver who drove around to a few spots and had zero knowledge of the wall or the history behind it. He was a very nice gentleman, accommodating, got us around well and very interested in learning as well but if you are looking for a professionally guided tour this probably isn’t it.

William is such a great tour guide. This was the second time we were fortunate enough to spend a fantastic day with him. William is very personable and knowledgeable. He is very accommodating and helped customize this tour based on our personal preferences in order to maximize our enjoyment of the trip. On future trips to Scotland, I will definitely ask for William!
