Relax and enjoy the magnificent natural surroundings of Kuang Si Waterfalls. The water tumbles down and cascades gently into several cool, clear pools where you can enjoy a refreshing swim. Adventurous can walk up the steep path to the top of the falls for a spectacular view.
On the way back, we will visit a Hmong resettlement village. Originally living in the highlands, some Hmong have migrated to the lowlands with the support of the Lao government due to inadequate infrastructure, employment, and educational opportunities. The village has a small museum built by the villagers that offers a glimpse into the culture and traditions of the Hmong people, who still cherish their traditional way of life in the highlands.
A half-day trip, usually 4 hours. Private packages can be flexible to service with departure and return at your convenience and include additional stops along the way (Carpe Diem Restaurant, Lao Buffalo Diary, Kuang Si butterfly parks, etc.) if requested.

We enjoyed this tour, we visited the village, the waterfall, butterfly park and the elephant camp. The waterfall is stunning and really enjoyed feeding the elephants. The guide was very flexible and asked where we wanted to go. The guide was excellent and spoke very good English and we never felt rushed. Would recommend this tour.

Although our tour guide was very friendly to was more like a taxi service there and back and you just wander around by yourself a few hours but actually I enjoyed doing that on my own.
The waterfalls are extremely beautiful and you have about 2 hours to walk around, I did walk all they up to the top to “the view” but all I could see was trees and no waterfall… (you can pay money to do a treetop walk but I think still you can’t see the waterfall ) so best views were walking around the bottom, the water was such a beautiful colour!
One thing I would add to the tour company is to make sure people stick to the given times and if they don’t, they will be left.
We had one woman on the trip who was not ready for pick up at the hotel in the morning so we waited about half an hour, then again after the waterfalls she made everyone wait over 30 minutes in the van while the tour guide waited for her which meant we had literally a 5 minute stop at Hmong village.
If people are late, they should be made aware that the bus will go without them as this slightly ruined my experience of the tour.
