    Derek was our very competent and informative guide from China Highlights for our two days in Hangzhou. We gained an impression of his life in this province as if he were a friend, of the extravert sort, who was happy to share his life. Derek rented four rows of a tea plantation so he could produce his own tea which we sampled. We cruised around the hill-ringed West Lake, toured the Lingyin Buddhist Temple and learnt about their beliefs, and saw up close how tea was produced. This is the sort of experience that enriches my life.
