This is your chance to get behind the well-trodden tourist routes and experience ‘real Vietnam’. Today we focus on how our people go about their daily lives – its a 6:30am start as Vietnamese are early risers, but here’s a genuine glimpse into ‘local’ Hoi An and our rural families in the surrounding countryside and paddy fields.     06:30 am - Pick Up at your Hoi An hotel. Central Market after sunrise. Try a Vietnamese breakfast with locals (included). A private boat ride to rural Cam Kim Island & see woodcarving, local shipbuilding, a family temple, local families and local industry such as rice paper and mat making. Return to Hoi An Old Town for your escorted walking tour behind the tourist trails. Experience Vietnam's unique coffee culture (included). 12:30 pm Drop-Off at your Hoi An Hotel or the ancient town.

I arranged a private tour for 8 family members with Man Nguyen tours. It was easy to communicate with Man Nguyen and setup our private itinerary even when living in the US. Our tour guide, Thich, met us at the airport, whisked is into a luxury bus/van and we took off for our first stop. Over 2 days, Thich did everything he could to take care of me and my family and ensure we had the best time in these wonderful cities. Thich was knowledgeable, patient and always kind. This tour was by far our favorite and it’s because of Man Nguyen tours!

Great tour. Took us to the real local spots. We hit the major attractions and ate like a local. Transport was comfortable and safe. Our driver was top notch. Tuan, our guide, was really impressive. His knowledge was outstanding and he gave us the information we needed. Changed the tour to meet our specific needs. Had great fun bike riding through Hoi An. Beautiful country and people are fantastic. Could not ask for more.

The authentic one-day private tour in Hoi An was definitely the highlight of our six-day trip in Vietnam. Our guide Tuan, who is from Hoi An and speaks perfect English, is very knowledgable and introduced to us the history and culture of the city and Vietnam. His passion for the job made the well-paced tour even more enjoyable. We travelled by private car between Da Nang and Hoi An and by private boat to the islands in Hoi An. We had a taste of the lives of the friendly locals (pottery, mat weaving, rice paper/noodle making, organic farming, etc) and ate like a local too. Having joined two other group tours during our trip, we must say the quality of this private tour is unbeatable, and we will join the company’s private tours when we visit this part of the country again!
