This is an in depth, 6 hour group tour of the Space Center Houston which is the most popular tourist destination in Houston. Your private guide is a real rocket scientist and an experienced space expert who will explain everything you see and answer all of your questions in a way you will easily understand. The tour provides an extraordinary opportunity to learn about the history, current programs and future plans for space exploration. This is where NASA trains the astronauts and operates the US human space exploration programs. You will see the actual hardware used to fly our astronauts into space, touch a moon rock, go inside a space station, go inside the Space Shuttle, visit Mission Control and tour the massive Saturn V rocket used to fly to the moon. This interesting and fun tour is suitable for all ages - seniors, youth and children mature enough to enjoy the wonders of space flight. We can’t say enough great things about our tour! We are a family of five traveling with an 11, 9, and 3 year old. Getting to take a mental break from logistical planning and just enjoy the experience with our crew was a delight. Not only was Bill well organized and made the whole tour run smoothly, he was personable and fun. He generously allowed my oldest to pepper him with questions while still engaging the whole group. My son had high expectations for this visit and Bill far exceeded them. His technical knowledge and insider information added so much to our experience. My son declared that it was “the best part of our vacation by at least a factor of 100”.
