Last fall I had the most incredible experience trekking to Annapurna Base Camp, and a huge part of that was thanks to the amazing guide, Roshan. From start to finish, he was the definition of professionalism — calm, knowledgeable, and always ensuring the safety. The night before we were supposed to start, I felt sick, and he was incredibly flexible, rearranging everything without any stress. His patience and understanding made all the difference, allowing me to recover and still enjoy the trek fully. Throughout the journey, he went above and beyond, always offering extra effort to make sure I was comfortable, well-informed, and enjoying every moment. I am far away from trekking experrt and he had an alternative option to adjust, in case i could not catch up. I always felt completely safe. We completed the Annapurna Circuit with Roshan in January and it was a magical experience, I can't recommend him enough. He is such a knowledgeable guide and his experience made our trip unforgettable. There were so many points along the trip where his local knowledge was advantageous, such as when teahouses and whole villages were closed (due to winter) and he would call ahead up the mountain to find a place for us ahead of time. We also encountered some small landslides and ice on the trail along the way that he was already aware of due to his local contacts and he was therefore able to adjust our route for safety. These are all things we wouldn't have been aware of if we did it alone or with a less experienced guide. If you are considering a trek in Nepal I can't recommend Roshan enough, he really made this experience the trip of a lifetime and I hope to be back in Nepal again to do a different trek with him.
