We had a walking tour with Ravi in Varanasi, and it was an excellent experience. I still remember some of the fascinating facts he shared with us (which is uncommon for me). I really appreciated how clearly he explained everything. His English is excellent—he speaks slowly, loudly, and in a way that’s easy to understand. Ravi also guided us on how to behave in different places, which was very helpful. Additionally, he recommended a few shops where we could buy souvenirs at reasonable prices (much cheaper than nearby options). At the end of the tour, he ensured we reached the location where we could book a cab to the airport and even checked to make sure we departed safely. I highly recommend him for tours in Varanasi!

We had a wonderful walking tour of Varanasi with Ravi. The walk went at a relaxed pace, while at the same time covering a lot of ground and opening our eyes to parts of the city we would not have seen on our own. Ravi shared tons of information with us regarding Hindu traditions and the culture of the city, treated us to some delicious street food and catered the tour stops to what we were most interested in. We are not big tour people generally, however Varanasi is an overwhelming place to explore, and having someone who is local to the city is key to really understanding everything that’s going on around you. We’re really glad we had this experience and wish we had done it on our first day in Varanasi, rather than our last - as it gave us a whole new perspective of the city, plus Ravi had lots of other tips to continue exploring the city on our own. He’s also an incredibly nice guy, speaks perfect English, and is the utmost professional. You can tell he is passionate about what he does. Highly recommend Ravi as a guide and resource for your trip to Varanasi!
