We stayed at this very nice hotel with a superb location in relation to Sidari and the Amour canal.
The staff were extremely attentive, friendly, and helpful.
Special mention to Lynda the head of house keeping. She went above and beyond and her Lancashire accent was a welcome attraction to what was an otherwise sea of Russian other guests.
Without sounding xenophobic there was a lot of these people in this hotel. Obviously they have as much right as any other nationality to be there but they seemed very overwhelming.
The hotel was exceptionally clean and very well kept.
Rooms were as pictured and we had a river room with a pool exclusively for guests in this part of the hotel.
Our own sunloungers and balcony however the pool was freezing.
Maybe because it was low season but it was cold.
We went all inclusive and this was a mistake. Breakfast in at least two days during the week had the house specialty SPROUTS, and carrots and finally green beans with sweetcorn. Yum I here you cry but no it wasn't. Everything was cold. No milk for cereal, drinks were just syrup based with water. Not good as none of the food was labelled. Mayonnaise was thought to be greek yoghurt next to tinned fruit. Not a good combination.
Lunch was salads and pasta with anaemic chips, if your lucky. Obligatory tomato based sauce. Deserts that the borrowers would feel short changed at.
Dinner bare in mind was a five hour gap from lunch to being served at 7.30 pm.
Don't even think about trying to start 5 minutes early or the food police will reprimand you.
Pork,we guessed, Chicken if you didn't eat it the abundance of stray cats would. 3% beer can be drank throughout the afternoon and evening. Good luck finding a glass any bigger than a thimble.
So eating out was a must, at least it was hot and you could tell what you ordered. Luckily plenty of local restaurants.
On the whole with the greatest of respect a 3 star establishment at best.
