After searching yoga retreats in the Kathmandu valey, I was pleased to immerse myself in 6 wonderful days at Mandala Studio at Chandragiri. The mindfulness yoga retreat included mornings with yoga classes, followed by a combination of ayurveda massage, oil dropping therapy, meditation with chanting, adapted for stress management, reiki healing and sound healing practice, with Shanta Shakya. Through this tailored and balanced schedule, I have rested and recovered. This retreat will have long lasting impact on my wellbeing, with the discovery of new yoga styles and helped on my facial paralysis recovery.
Its location offers peace with an astonishing view of the Annapurna - Himalaya and Kathmandu valley. I have combined visits to Kathmandu, Patan and Nagargot.
