This tour starts by heading directly to the Waimea Canyon on the west side. On the way there, we will stop to stretch our legs and take a look at the Hanapepe Valley overlook. At Waimea town, we will begin our ascent into the canyon. We will stop at about 1800 feet for our first view, stop at a miniature waterfall for pictures, take a short walk on a nature trail with native Hawaiian plants where you can stand at the very edge of the canyon, and then on to the main canyon viewing area. From there we will head to the top stopping to see the Waipo'o Falls on the way. At the very top we will view two different vantage points of the Kalalau Valley from 4700 feet down to the ocean. On the way back down, listen to a historical tale about the Kalalau Valley. Lunch. Then to the south side for Spouting Horn and Poipu Beach where we will be on the lookout for turtles and the Hawaiian monk seals.

So happy we booked Noah! This was one of our favorite excursions during our time in Hawaii. Noah picked us up right at the cruise port and made a seamless and fun day with action and history of the beautiful island. Lots of bucket list items were checked!!

We did Noah's south side tour with my family including boys of 9 and 13 and my 80-year old mother in law. Everyone had a great time, and Noah's history and other stories were engaging for all of us, hard to do for the wide age range and interests. We spent most of our day doing the Waimea Canyon drive and stops, and had a fun and tasty lunch at Koke'e Park Lodge on the way back down from the top. So nice not to have to drive and to have lots of background on Hawaii and what we were seeing. Canyon was incredible. Highly recommended.
