This tour really does open your eyes. Monika our guide was really good and very informative another great Tour by Escape 2 Poland. Be prepared for the long walk.

Our guide was on time to collect us a lovely person who was obviously very knowledgeable & passionate about her city. Walking tour of a lovely crisp morning leaving the old town into the Jewish 1/4 with a look round a synagogue. Then across to the former ghetto then onto Schindlers factory were tickets were organised & we got access to the museum. At this point the guide said goodbye & we made our own way around the museum which is excellent. Obviously far to much history to discuss but lots of things pointed out & recommendations made that allowed you to confidently return to explore the tour route. The tour was over a couple of hours not including the museum which could take hours to see & read everything. This is a walking tour All on pavements within the city. Would definetely recommend & would do again.

We met Monica at our meeting point right on time. There was meant to be another couple but they dropped out so we had our own private tour! We started in the Jewish quarter and saw some filming location for Schindler’s List. We then went on to Plac Nowy, an old kosher slaughter house, where Monica pointed out some Zapiekanki street food stalls. We went back after our tour and would highly recommend this. Then we went past the graveyard and into a more in-depth history of some of the synagogues in Krakow. We then crossed over the river and went to where the Ghetto used to be. There you will see 65 chairs as a memorial. Finally we finished up at Schindler’s Factory where you can buy tickets and continue. The tour took around 90 minutes and covers a good amount of ground so get some comfy shoes on. Well worth it and not something you will learn about just for a guide book.
