Discover isola Bella, the jewel of lake Maggiore, on a unique private tour. An experienced local tour guide will meet you in Stresa at your hotel ( if centrally located) or at the pier in Stresa, Baveno, Pallanza to reach isola Bella by private boat and discover all its beauty at a lovely time of the day when most of the crowds have usually gone. Your private boat will tour around isola Bella to enable you to enjoy beautiful views of the spectacular 17th-century gardens built on ten levels and see the whole palace from the boat. Your personal guide will show you the richly decorated rooms and the grottos telling you more about the founders and owners of isola Bella's fairy-tale palace and will then take you on a guided stroll through the lovely gardens and the tiny village on the island.

We cannot explain how much we enjoyed our experience with Micaela. She was easy to communicate with as we constructed our own private boat tour of islands and included the sunset cruise. She was so informative about the history and culture of the islands and lake area and was fun to be with. We also felt that pricing was extremally reasonable. Thank you so much Micaela!!!

Micaela was gracious, professional, and informative. The initial meet-up was easy, the boat ride itself was beautiful, and the tour of Isola Bella was quite interesting. Micaela engaged both the children and adults, and we would definitely recommend this experience to anyone looking for a meaningful excursion.

We had a wonderful time touring & learning about the Borromeo islands with Micaela this past October. Micaela has a in-depth knowledge of the political, cultural and natural history of the area. Was wonderful to learn about all of the incredible species planted on the islands. Fascinating history! Thanks again. Hope to return some day.
