Our overnight Pacuare Adventure is a Paddle and Hike expedition. Not only will we raft a variety of exciting rapids, but we will also hike to pristine waterfalls, fun swimming holes and primary jungles. This package includes at least one hike a day, based on your athletic and adventure desires.

    I was unsure when we booked the 2 day trip.. I had never done white water rafting... Frankly, I was very nervous..... Well, there was no need to be. Our guide Ivan is a superb professional. He knows the river like the back of his hand. His instructions when we were navigating those class 4 rapids were clear and I have never had so much fun, all the while the adrenaline was pumping!! Running those rapids through the rainforest is magnificent, Ivan was continuously pointing out wildlife. We also stopped at one point and swam in the river. Both Ivan and Enrique, our kayaker are incredible chefs, cooking us fantastic meals in the outdoor kitchen. Our stay in the cabin"yurts" was comfortable and restful with a beautiful view of the river gorge. You need to do this trip.... I highly recommend it.. DO IT!

    This one or two day trip down the Pacuare is a must event for anyone spending time in Costa Rica. Exploradores is a first rate outfit and our guide, Ricardo, had over 20 years of experience on the river. He was skilled at rafting obviously, but most important was his charming demeanor and effort to provide us the history and stories of the river to enhance our experience. He was a consummate pro! My wife and I (she was a bit reluctant at first to go on this) heartily recommend this outfit and Ricardo for anyone looking to add adventure to their trip!

    Our group of 6 from Canada booked this overnight trip, 3 of us having previous experience rafting. Ivan and Enrique were amazing hosts and guides and were knowledgeable, entertaining and just amazing people! The overnight stay at the villa in the mountains was beyond magical and we all wanted to stay longer. Ivan and Enrique also did all the cooking and made amazing food for us. This trip is a must and worth it. We would do this again and specifically ask for these guys. Great job Ivan and Enrique ????
