The Hop on Hop off London routes
The Hop on Hop off bus has four routes that are marked with a color. If you want to see as much as possible of London, take the yellow route. Would you like to see the highlights at the Hyde Park area, then choose the blue route first. The orange route connects some of the major train stations and passes the British Museum. You can get off at any personal point of interest and take your time to explore the sights or visit the attractions and/or museums. Attention: all the routes are driven in an one way direction.
The bus tour that follows the yellow route takes you along the most famous attractions of central London and south of the city. This bus tour is ideal for anyone who wants to see both sides of the Thames and the most popular highlights of London The route will include the London Bridge, Westminster Bridge and the Big Ben. The total tour takes about an hour and a quarter.
The blue route is different from the above-described yellow route. The route visits the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. The area contains some of the more expensive residential properties in London along with a large number of museums, including the V & A Museum, Science Museum, Natural History Museum and Design Museum. You will also pass along the famous Harrods department store and the Royal Albert Hall. The total tour takes about 40 minutes.
The orange route connects some of the major train stations, such as Kings Cross, St Pancras and Euston to central London. You will also pass one of the most popular attraction in London, the British Museum.
Popular starting points are: Piccadilly Circus (Coventry Street), Victoria (Grosvenor Gardens), Tower Hill, Kensington Palace Gate, Russell Square (Woburn Place), Westminster Bridge, Queen’s Gallery, Charing Cross Road, Bayswater Road, Parliament Street, Aldwych and York Road.
