Our Museum is located in the heart of Covent Garden and is an award-winning day out for the whole family. Packed full of iconic red London buses, heritage Tube trains and black cabs, the Museum tells the story of how London has been shaped by its transport system over the past 220 years, starting from 18th-century horse-drawn buses to its pioneering underground railway.
Families will love getting hands-on with many of the Museum's interactive games and play areas - under 5s will love exploring the All Aboard play zone and in the Future Engineers gallery, you can take to the driver's seat and drive an Elizabeth Line train. Visitors will be able to see vintage posters up-close and learn about iconic pieces of design including the Tube map and the world-renowned roundel or bullseye.

The Piazza, London WC2E 7BB, UK Explore London's relationship with the public transport systems which shaped its identity, from 18th-century horse-drawn buses to its pioneering underground railway, and the iconic tube map. See the world's first underground steam and electric trains, classic London buses and trams, plus vintage vehicles. Red buses, black cabs, and the tube. Housed in a charming old flower market, the refurbished vehicles and colourful exhibits tell the story of how transport enabled London's development over the last 200 years.
Journey through London's history as told through beautifully restored vehicles interactive displays, and iconic posters. Access the All Aboard playzone, where kids assume roles of conductors, mechanics, or drivers on interactive vehicles. Make sure to stop by the Museum's cafe-bar, Canteen, and its unique shop to pick up your transport-inspired gifts as part of your visit.

It is interesting, but much smaller than I expected. I think £24 is a bit steep. I looked at and read everything and I was only in there for just over an hour.
Not sure if children are free but if not and you're a family of 4 or 5 then possibly £60, £70 or £80 etc would make it far too expensive for what's there.

Zeer leuk en leerrijk! Mooie foto’s van de geschiedenis van het openbaar vervoer, indrukwekkend.
Goed opgebouwde thema’s en leuke shop achteraf.

Das Museum ist eine knappe 4. Es ist nicht gerade gross, im Vergleich zu anderen technikorientierten Museen. Die Ausstellung ist aber gut gemacht, auch wenn das Thema sehr übersichtlich ist. Es gibt aber viel zu lesen, was bei kleineren Kindern etwas schwer ist. Auch die kriegen aber was zu sehen. Ob das dann aber GBP 22/24 für den Eintritt wert ist, muss jeder selbst entscheiden. Für die Dauer unseres Aufenthaltes war es unter dem Strich doch recht viel.
