    City Cruises ruined the beginning of our New Year's Eve with their terrible organization and customer service. Staff was extremely unprofessional and rude at times. They caused us to miss the boat cruise we paid for because of their lack of organization. We were put on a cruise with a ton of kids and bad music, which is not what we paid for. This was all after waiting (standing) outside in the cold for 1.5 hours waiting for the cruise to leave and trying to communicate with the incompetent employees. Awful experience.

    Please be informed that the new year star gazer is not worth a single penny. The queuing arrangements are badly managed and the boats don’t leave on time. You are herded like cattle and made to wait in long queues. A convenient response being some random health and safety scare, which doesn’t exist. The staff is inconsiderate towards any special needs of the customer, such as a seating area while waiting, for a pregnant member. They don’t turn any heating in the boat and lie to your face when you question why is it not working. Please don’t fall for this gimmick. And the stink of it all, the viewing position of the boat is NOT the same as advertised in the pictures. Don’t fall for this expensive gimmick. When I asked for a refund, it was denied because they are not responsible for any of the above. In short, it’s simply a scam, with no recourse. I am planning to initiate a legal action against them.     City Cruises description of their cruise in comparison to the actual cruise is awful. After emailing to complain, I was offered as a goodwill more tickets, when I live 3.5 hours from London, and also scared of water and boats, but took my partner on the fireworks cruise as a gift for Christmas as I knew he’d love it. And he was disappointed with the cruise which is utterly upsetting. City Cruises have hardly tried to sympathise or help me in anyway. I paid £199 per person for a late set off, awful food and drink, nothing like described and no help to compensate the money I spent with them.
