Our guide, Omar, was excellent. He has a thorough understanding of the history and significance of each place we visited, and is a superb speaker. Likewise, our driver was excellent.
Nevertheless, in hindsight, I would have preferred to take a train and take our time at Windsor Castle and at Bath. One can easily spend a full day at either venue, with tine to take in shops and cafes and/or restaurants.
It would be a bit harder to visit Stonehenge on our own without a car, and I'm not motivated enough to learn how to drive on the left hand side of the road.
By the tine we reached Bath it was dark and raining (beginning of November). We foolishly left our umbrellas behind and there was precious little tine to see anything so we returned to the bus early after getting soaked.
If I did it again I would skip Stonehenge, which is fascinating, but remote and hard to get to, and spend a day at Windsor Castle and Bath each arriving by British rail.
