The inspiration for animators of Disney’sThe Lion King, Hell’s Gate National Park covers roughly 26 square miles (68.25 square kilometers). Named for a gap in the red-tinged cliffs carved by the flowing waters of a prehistoric lake, it’s the only park in East Africa in which you can get out of your safari vehicle and hike freely. Riding a bicycle in the park while viewing wildlife in their natural habitat as well as walking along the gorge is something you can't miss in hell's gate.     Our accredited guide/driver will pick you at 7am from your hotel. He will take you through a short tour briefing of the trip. Start the journey through the highlands of kikuyu. After an hour drive your reach the view point where you will stop for 30min to view the great rift valley as you take photos. You will also have a good view of mount Longonot, a volcano mountain with a crater on the top. Start driving down the rift valley for 1 hour towards lake Naivasha where hell's gate national park sits. The agricultural activity done here is Rose flower growing and you will see plenty of green houses. At this point you will have reached the entrance to hell's gate. Get your bike ready and start biking in the park. You will be seeing giraffes, zebras antelopes and gazelles grazing on both sides of the road as you ride down to the gorge area.

    Lake Naivasha is a freshwater lake in Kenya, outside the town of Naivasha in Nakuru County, which lies north west of Nairobi. It is part of the Great Rift Valley. Here you will ride the motor boat on lake naivasha while seeing hippos and different bird species, including fish eagle.

I really loved the experience in hells gate national park. The bike ride was a good experience. My guide Douglas was the best. He showed me alot. I highly recommend this tour and this company caraluxe. From picking up was prompt and I never got bored the 2 hours we drove from Nairobi.

We had a great time on our trip today. Our guide Douglas picked us up from our hotel and gave us some great tips for our stay in nairobi as well as many interesting facts about the tour. He was so kind and with alot of knowledge. The biking in hells gate as well as the boat ride were both super exciting and we were able to sport alot of sightings.
