Great trip very well conducted by Jammal, who was our guide and driver. Beautiful landscapes and many stops along the way to ease the distances. Another good thing was the presence of local guides in some cities, who contributed a lot to give more information about the visits.
I have travelled with other tours groups before and can say without reservations that Siroco Tours exceeded my expectations in every way. We arrived a week early before the tour so we could independently do a cooking school in Tangier and hike around Chefchaouen. Unfortunately, the weather we experienced was torrential downpours and the roads were flooded. We were not able to go to Chefchaouen. Our local Siroco contact guide, Mohammed, helped us obtain a hotel in Rabat where we diverted and ultimately began our tour. I was impressed by the fact that Soroco Tour had our back before we even started the tour with them.
The tour itself was well planned out, the cities and village we visited were representative of Morocco, and our overnight in the desert was spectacular. My friend came down with a horrible stomach bug in Fez and our driver went out of the way in the evening to help get her treatment.
Speaking of our driver, RADOUAN OUBOUYA, he was one of the best I have ever had. He went out of way to provide informative, historical background on each place we visited. In addition, he was a very courteous and safe driver. I never felt rushed while visiting any of the sites that were on our itinerary. In fact, he demonstrated great flexibility in adapting our itinerary as we wished.
There are so many highlights I could provide, but a few of them would include the goats and sheep market in Rassani and a home-cooked meal of couscous with our driver’s family on a Friday when a traditional meal of couscous is served.
You absolutely cannot go wrong with choosing Siroco Tour to provide you an inside look into the history, culture, and peoples of Morocco. You will not be disappointed. And if you are as lucky to get Radouan as your guide, you will be in for a truly unique experience.
