We had a wonderful experience snorkeling with Sail Maui! We loved the intimacy of the boat - only 25 people or so, compared with others we saw that looked more crowded. Plenty of room to spread out on the trampoline or in the shaded area. The staff went above and beyond - super friendly, hardworking, and gave great recommendations. We loved when they cut the motor and we just sailed. Our captain was amazing and very skilled. There was some rough wind heading back, and he was a pro. (Apparently he is also a world-champion wind surfer?!) Breakfast was pastries, coffee, fruit, and yogurt, and lunch was sandwiches, pasta salad, and sodas or beer/wine. The gear they gave us was in good condition and everything was sanitized before and after. We had a nice long amount of time to snorkel, felt leisurely and not rushed at all. We saw TONS of amazing fish on the reef, it was one of the coolest parts of our trip to Maui. We're so happy we went to Molokini, and Mahalo to the Sail Maui team for a fantastic day!

We chose to book with Sail Maui because they actually sail and we sure did. Many other sailboat tours just motor around, but we put those sails up and let the wind take us to Molokini and back. It was a great experience getting to fly across the water. The crew was great the whole time keeping the boat moving and also getting guests anything they needed.

We had an amazing day. The sail to Molokini Crater was mellow. The snorkeling was good and we had plenty of time allowed for snorkeling. On the way home, the sea breeze kicked in and we had an EXHILARATING sail back to the marina! I am a sailor by hobby, and I very much appreciated the skippers abilities and his SAILING the boat rather than motoring or motor sailing. Everyone on board was screaming and then laughing with delight.
