I combined a mix of sweet treats and savory snacks (5 or 6 in total) to offer you a private and local tasting tour that will boost your Milanese experience. We will start your food journey in the Brera neighborhood, one of Milan’s hippest area. We will stroll the intimate streets of this area and get ready to sample local delicacies such as a gelato made from organic and natural products, a local sandwich called tramezzino and a typical salumi sandwich. As you wander around the atmospheric streets of Milan, you can hear about the city’s history and traditions from a local’s perspective. Continue with a stop at a small artisan chocolate shop and enjoy a sample of delicious chocolate. We will move on to another cool new area. and enjoy a delicious pizza at a chic bakery. Along with all local delicacies, you’ll also have the chance to enjoy a glass of locally-sourced wine at a popular bar.

Our group loved this food tour! Our guide Army was on-time and the meeting place was easy to find. He texted me to let me know what he was wearing so that we could find each other in the crowd. We had a nice walk to various stops where we sampled some of the local specialties at cafes where the locals go. Along the way Army told us some of the history of the area and some fun facts that we had never heard of. There was plenty of food to make a satisfying lunch including wine and dessert. There was quite a bit of walking so if you’re not up to walking for a couple of hours this might not be for you. If you're up for the walk I would highly recommend this tour.

This tour was a great way to see parts of Milan we never would have discovered. Definitely come with an appetite - there was so much food! Armando was a fabulous guide and shared his knowledge and humor with our group as we ate our way through this beautiful city. Highly recommend!
