See the original notes and drawings of Leonardo da Vinci's Codex Atlanticus, in the Pinacoteca Ambrosiana, Milan. The entry ticket includes access to both the museum and the exhibition, where pages from the artist’s notebook are given pride of place. Visit the ancient library where the Codex Atlanticus is stored, and admire art by Caravaggio, Raphael, Titian, and more. Allow yourself 1.5 hours for a visit.

Pinacoteca Ambrosiana, Milan, Italy Make your way to the Pinacoteca Ambrosiana in Milan, just five minutes away from the famous Piazza Duomo.
With your entry ticket in hand, you'll step straight inside the museum to enter the exhibit of the Codex Atlanticus: Leonardo da Vinci’s personal collection of drawings and notes.
Offering insight into the creative mind of the Renaissance artist and inventor, the exhibit showcases select pages from the collection, and these are rotated regularly. If you want to see the rest — the Codex Atlanticus has more than 1,000 pages — head to the museum’s library. Your admission ticket grants access to all the main areas of the Pinacoteca Ambrosiana.
Explore its halls to see works of art by Botticelli, Titian, Raphael, and more. Caravaggio’s Basket of Fruit, a still-life painting, is just one of the highlights.
How long you stay inside the museum is up to you. The recommended visit time is 1.5 hours.

A breathtaking experience.
Take your time and lose yourself into these rooms filled with teasures like an amazing paiting by Caravaggio and several ones by the Flemish Painters (actually the widest collection in Italy). Then you arrive in the amazing library where you will see Da Vinci's Codex Atlanticus. Absolutely stunning.

Seeing Da Vinci’s notes in person was an amazing experience. The museum was a beautiful building.e and my wife felt honored to be in the presence of such amazing art work.
