Pick-up from inside the Kathmandu City

  • Kala Pattar, Nepal
    Early in the morning (at around 5.45am), we shall pick you up from your hotel then transfer to the domestic section of the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. After completing, the airport formalities, we shall then drive to the helipad and fly to Lukla (the first stop) for re-fueling. The real adventure starts after Lukla flying towards the Everest region crossing over Namche Bazaar, Tengboche, Dingboche (the Everest Base Camp trail) and witnessing world's highest mountains series like Amadablam, Thamserku, Cho-oyu then finally towards the Mt. Everest. The helicopter will fly over the Everest Base Camp and the Khumbu Glacier (from where Mt. Everest expeditions starts). Afterwards, fly to Syangboche at the Hotel Everest View (3380 meters)- hotel at the world's highest point, have a breakfast with great mountain panorama including Mt. Everest in the background. Finally fly back to Kathmandu and drop-off at your hotel.

Going to Mount Everest has always been on my bucket list, I am not confident for a 14-day trek without any training so the helicopter tour is no doubt the best option. Bharat got in touch with us quickly after we made an inquiry, he was so informative and helped us to plan our dream trip. He assisted us with our e-visa application and reminded us not to forget our winter clothes because it could be really cold on the mountains. Transfers from/to your hotel is included - early morning pick up and going all the way to Kalapatthar (5545m). There will be a few stops for you to take all the photos you want, one of the highlights is definitely the breakfast at Hotel Everest View. Food is surprisingly great and of course the view of the Himalayas is to die for! The pilot is professional so you know you are in good hands. Special thanks to Bharat, he was checking on us throughout the tour, making sure we were comfortable and taken care of. We organised another tour with the same company (UNESCO sights….excellent) and quickly Bharat made contact by WhatsApp. Bharat made suggestions for other tours and he made us start to feel very excited with a Helicopter tour ( it wasn’t private) but still only 5 people. Wow wow wow!!!!!! What a day!!!! One of the best days of our lives!!!! It was so so beautiful…..photos don’t do it justice. Bharat made the whole experience so easy he picked us up from the hotel and helped us though the airport helicopter routine. He kept us updated when we were being picked up again at Hotel Everest View and when we returned at the end of the day Bharat was waiting for us to take us back to our hotel. I did an Everest base camp helicopter tour during my short stay in Nepal. It was one of the best experiences of my life. The 5 hours helicopter tour starting from Kathmandu, landing at Kalapattar, and breakfast in Everest view hotel was one of the best things I have ever done. The weather was fantastic and the timing and everything were as described. If you don’t want to walk to Everest base camp for more than 12 days, this is the right trip for you in a day. These guys are so awesome from the beginning of my inquiry with so many questions until I returned back from the trip. Everything went perfectly. Highly recommended day tour from Kathmandu!
