Visit two fascinating Buddhist sites on a full-day trip from Yangon to Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda, also called Golden Rock, and Bago, leaving the capital city behind to explore local culture and landmarks. You'll pass through a landscape of paddy fields and forests, browse a pagoda market selling traditional medicines and handicrafts, then tour pagodas in a former imperial capital that's dotted with Buddhist sites.     Your guide will meet you at your hotel and drive to Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda, about three and half hours. Located in Kyaikhto Township, Mon State and situated on the top of the rocky mountain, 1100 meters above the sea level. It was also known as Golden Rock Pagoda among the travelers When your coach arrives at Kimpun based camp, transfer  to an open truck to Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda about one 45minutes. Exploring around the platform of Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda, it offers you a magnificent view of nature. There was a lot of ancient pagodas and your guide will lead you to the most interesting places such as Shwetharlyaung Pagoda that was the most beautiful reclining Buddha image in Myanmar. Kyaikpun Pagoda which was four gigantic Buddha images seating back to back and face the four cardinal points of the compass. Shwemawdaw Pagoda built and worshiped by ancient Mon people and Snake Monastery. Then, back to Yangon about two hour drive and return to your lodging hotel in Yangon.

If you have limited time, this is a great day trip (around 13 hours) from Yangon, taking in some of the most important Buddhist sites in the area, and allowing you to see the lush landscapes of Myanmar. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and our driver was very efficient at dropping us off and picking us up from various locations. All attraction entry prices, water and food are included. The company, Colors of Myanmar, was also very obliging, helping us to change the date of our tour when we couldn't make it on the day we had originally planned. Highly recommended!

A beautiful place Wondrous how the rock balances on edge without falling off. View from the hilltop is . People locals visit for worship. I have highly recommended it. must visit this place .....good support and care
