    This is where we have a number of banks from the old British Times which some of them even dates back from 1850s. After the country's independence, the names were changed into Myanmar names.
  • Maha Bandula Park St, Yangon, Myanmar (Burma)
    This is the only best park in downtown of Yangon where any people once they are in the heart of downtown Yangon make a short break here at the park. Once known as the Victorian Park but after the country's independence it was named as Maha Bandula Park in honor of the great Military Chief Bandula during the first Anglo-Burmese War back in 1824s.

Absolute 5 star tour. Asked Joseph for a trip on the circle train followed by a street food tour. On their own both amazing experiences. With Joseph and absolute pleasure. Width and depth of his knowledge is impressive. Solid English. Very nice, intelligent human. I wish he could come to every city to show me around. Book him!

We had a lovely tour with our guide Joseph. We enjoyed his passion for his city and gained a good understanding of central Yangon. It was very generous of Joseph to answer all our questions and we learned much more about Myanmar as well as Yangon. Definitely recommended even just to meet someone so nice as Mr.Joseph.

Me and my husband participated to the walking tour organized by Joseph from Mr. Rangoon Travel in Yangon. It was a very rich, a very eye opening tour, filled with history, heritage buildings and many information about Yangon & also Myanmar. Joseph was very kind, friendly and I would like to say that he knows everything ! He patiently answered all of our questions on top of what he shared with us. We are very happy for having done this tour with him and also for having met him. I recommend it to everyone who is curious about the city, the country, the history, the street food, the traditions, etc...
