Private Car & Driver for 07 Days Tour In Sri Lanka

I write this review at the end of our 8 day lpacked itinerary. There is absolutely no doubt that this holiday wouldn't have been such a memorable one if it wasn't for Darshana Tours. I reached out to him just over a month ago when I started getting bad vibes from the original company i booked. Darshana was professional, prompt and always informative in his responses without being pushy or sales-y. On our arrival, we were greeted by Dushan, our private driver who we now consider a friend. Dushan is very professional, arrives on time, drives safely and confidently and is always positive, happy to engage. Dushan also comes with a magic wand (his mobile phone), it has all the contacts you'll need whilst in Sri Lanka. So nothing is too much trouble for him to arrange. As such, we had several activities organised by him, all of which were spot-on and with a keen interest in making sure we were having fun. He tuned into our preferences and made suggestions accordingly. He became our translator, protected us from multiple street sellers and helpfully guided us on the local currency (tips, ticket prices etc.). Our only regret is not booking of safari to Yala with him as our hotel had offered to make the arrangements. Dushan also has incredible photography skills which is much appreciated. I am usually the photographer on holidays so it is a welcoming change to now have photos of myself to look back on. Overall, we would not hesitate to recommend Darshana tours and our driver friend, Durshan. We are looking forward to returning and in the interim, our friends and families, inspired by our photos have already requested the company's contact details. The tour was was very well organised. We had 6 days and covered all the prime locations. Suni our driver was EXCELLENT. Very punctual and caring. Recommend to anyone. Hotels were excellent
