From here, head to the 9/11 Memorial and gather around the Memorial Pools. Listen to your guide share detailed information about the monument and the design of the pools, as well as the architecture of the new World Trade Center and its symbolic use of materials, light, and reflections.     The Financial District of NYC located at the bottom tip of Manhattan, where the East River and Hudson River meet. It features amazing views of the Statue of Liberty and New Jersey, as well as the Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Williamsburg Bridges. The Financial District encompasses roughly the area south of City Hall Park in Lower Manhattan but excludes Battery Park and Battery Park City. The former World Trade Center complex was located in the neighborhood until the September 11, 2001 attacks; the neighborhood includes the successor One World Trade Center.
