This experience was amazing and I would recommend it for anyone. Our tour guide was John DeSantos and he was incredible. He had all the little tidbits about the station that you wouldn’t get from any other person. His humor is incredible and he made the tour enjoyable for everyone. It was fascinating to hear the history of the station and how it was built. Definitely recommend if you do this tour to go through him!

This tour was well worth it. The tour guide was excellent, and had a knack of remembering everyone’s name on in the group (more than I can do). It was longer than expected but we were in a larger group and that added some time. We got real insight into the history of Grand Central and some of the characters behind it. The Campbells bar, tucked away in a hidden corner, was a surprise as was the tennis court! Also it was a very rainy day so a great thing to do to stay out of the rain as it’s almost all indoors.
