Interesting, fun and interactive. Tons to do and learn about the spying world. A museum with games, nicely done!

We purchased the “all access” ticket which included both Spygames and Spyscape.
When you enter the building, they give you a bracelet to wear. You start with Spygames on the second floor. (Be sure to wear the right shoes to be able to run and jump. ) Lockers are available, and they are opened and closed by using your bracelet. There is no orientation or guidance from staff on what to do at Spygames. You figure it out on your own by watching the videos in front of each game room. You are given 50 minutes for Spygames, but not all of it is spent playing games. Some of it is actually spent waiting for the individual game rooms to open or become available. You might work up a sweat after Spygames, so it would be good to bring some water to hydrate after you finish Spygames. (They don’t let you go outside the building and re-enter. ) They do sell bottled water there.
Spyscape (which is different from spygames) is the museum portion of the building. It is interactive and immersive. Displays are interesting, and you can learn about Virginia Hall, Alan Turing, Robert Hansen, Anonymous, etc. You are supposed to use your smart phone or one of their kiosks to answer several series of questions and quizzes, some of which are personality questions. Some questions involve math. They also have a fun laser room which tests agility. At the end, they give you a profile (or “debrief” ) of what type of work would supposedly best suit you in the world of espionage. I think Spyscape would be more appropriate for older kids or adults. Younger kids are not going to be able to understand the interactive quiz component or figure out answers to the puzzles, some which are very challenging. Tickets are expensive.
We always double-check the availability with our local partners for each booking. Even though this is usually a swift process, it can take up to 24 hours. Once this process is completed you will receive your voucher or ticket by email. If our local partner is not able to confirm your booking we will offer you the best possible alternative. If the new date and/or time doesn’t fit your itinerary, we will reimburse the full amount paid.
