This is a journey full of history and local customs, we will start crossing the fields of cultivation in the Moche countryside, we will arrive at a local family that will welcome us in MOCHE style, the family will teach us their activities and customs in the elaboration of ceramics who use technique and ancient process of the Moche period. We will be in the museum of huacas de moche to see the best ceramic pieces and then enter the huaca de la luna, the main temple of the Moche.

    Our staff will pick you up at the agreed place, be it a hotel, port or airport. Our transportation is a 4x2 car or truck for 4 or 6 passengers along with your tour guide who will accompany you throughout your journey. the guide is local and knowledgeable about local history and customs. our visit will be an average of 4 hours, visiting the huacas de moche, huaca del sol, and luna and then we will go to the huacas site museum, where the ceramic pieces extracted from the huaca de la luna are exhibited, we finish in a workshop of local crafts. Upon return, you will be left at the starting point.

Dilser nos ayudó organizar una visita a la Huaca de la Luna, que se llevó a cabo en un grupo pequeño con una guía muy bien informada y amable. El próximo día, habíamos reservado una excursión a la Señora de Cao. Aunque el resto del grupo canceló, Dilser nos recogó y realizó el tour como si fuera privada sin costo adicional. Era tan profesional y lo pasamos fenomenal - este fue mi excursion preferida de todo el viaje!

Dilser was a fantastic guide with excellent English. Huaca de la Luna is a really incredible site, with beautifully preserved reliefs in colour and a mind-blowing cultural history. Highly recommend.

We toured the Huaca de la Luna with Dilser and had such a fabulous time we ended up booking another day trip to see the Huaca del Brujo with him too! Both sites are absolutely incredible, well worth a visit and Dilser is the perfect fun, friendly and informative guide. Learned a ton, experienced so much magic and would definitely do it again !
