    Your private guide and driver will pick you up from your Beijing city hotel between 7:00am to 11:00am. Drive about 1.5 hours to Mutianyu Great Wall. The Great Wall at Mutianyu is located in Huairou District, 70 kilometres (43 miles) northeast of Beijing city. It is one of the best-preserved and best-known Great Wall sections, has breath-taking scenery but less tourists. Upon arrival,your tour guide will buy the tickets for you.You can either choose to take the cable car up and down or chairlift up and toboggan down. After enjoy 2-3 hours non hurried hiking experience on the Great Wall of China, you will stop for a tasty dumpling lunch at a local restaurant,trying different kinds of dumplings,dishes and a bottle of cold beer or beverage. After finishing your tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Absolutely fantastic! Being at the Great Wall was an amazing experience. We would highly recommend the private tour to maximize your time and be able go at your own pace. Our tour guide Ling made our trip quite memorable. From her knowledge of the Great Wall and casual conversation, she made us feel special. She took care of all the details and even helped us with shopping tips and took the time for us to take a slight detour for a little shopping. We would highly recommend Ling to everyone to ensure an enjoyable and memorable trip.

My tour guide Ling as terrific. She thought through beating the crowds and it worked! We arrived when the line was 5 minutes instead of 1.5 hours thanks to her planning. Which also meant a less crowded visit to the wall (even though for not long). Ling was helpful when I wanted to stop and shop and of course provided plenty of insight and history about the wall. Suggest not visiting on the weekends due to too many people.
